Karan Beef Hosts Start Of The 2011 Joberg2C Cycle Race

2011 saw Karan Beef host the start of the annual Joberg2C Cycle Race from their state of the art Feedlot facility some 10km outside Heidelberg in Gauteng. This classic off-road cycle event, which is part race and part adventure, takes place through the country side from the heat and dust of the big city to the cool crisp air of the sea through Spectacular Mountain passes.
       
Starting at Karan Beef and finishing nine exhausting days later at Scottburgh on the KZN South Coast, this event has become an absolute must do on the off-road racing calendar. Over 600 Competitors started in this year’s event and judging by the exceptional standard of the overall organisation together with the enthusiasm shown by the cyclists we can expect an even higher turnout in 2012.
