Our belief in consistent standards through control and care form the foundation of everything we do. Situated alongside our slaughter floor, our deboning plant is equipped to process up to 300 tons of deboned product per shift.
The result is a full range of primal cuts for major supermarket chains, caterers, hotels, restaurants, butchers and other retail outlets. All our products are vacuum-packed and selected products are aged before distribution. Our deboning plant enables us to add great value to our products and provide all our clients with premium primal cuts and other beef products.
In addition, the Modified Atmospheric Packaging System (MAP) makes use of a mixture of oxygen and CO2, which assists in producing a range of retail-ready packaged products with a greatly extended shelf life.
Keeping in line with Karan Beef's emphasis on consistent standards, the deboning department was upgraded in 2002 to meet international standards. The upgrade was done to adhere to our HACCP certification and the department runs the GMP which is implemented throughout the rest of the plant.
